General Information
The project is with a client building a Saas platform that enables companies to design, manage, and analyze personalized employment arrangements. They are looking for an architect to join their team and work with them. They would want 3-4 hours of overlap with the US eastern time zone. Also, this role has the potential to grow into a leadership position.
About Client
The client is a SaaS technology company aimed at improving the human experience of work. They help managers and their companies better attract, engage, and retain top talent by offering personalized employment to employees. Their team currently consists of CTO and a junior engineer, data engineer, and an outsourced agency team.
Your Role
1. Partner with our CTO, Data Engineer, and external developer partner firm to support, build and deliver new, and delightful features for our customers.
2. Will be responsible for the development of new software products and improvements to current products.
3. Should architect the solution and specifications for our external development team, and manage their progress and deliverables.
4. Should play multiple roles within the company including engineering, data and product team needs, considering all impacts in the software development process.
5. Should lead development projects with both internal and external project teams, and coordinate and participate in development efforts while maintaining alignment with business objectives.
6. Should be open to making recommendations on key technologies, frameworks, and design decisions.
7. Should create high-quality product specifications and other design documents.
8. Should follow best practices regarding using an agile methodology and with respect to testing processes.
9. Should be comfortable communicating with vendors and/or customers as needed.
10. Should write excellent, well-documented code while also participating in code reviews.
Other Details
1. Should have experience working at a startup.
2. Should have familiarity with building and working with SaaS applications planning for a significant scale.
3. Should have experience with HR technology and/or highly confidential data.
4. Comfort with improving and building on an already established codebase, HR tech stack, stripe, and identity management platforms.
